From a Vision to Reality

Home of Modern Learning (HML) came into existence to provide an alternative to mainstream schooling for students entering high school. We are passionate about providing high quality education, especially for teens who need a different learning environment and curriculum to reach their academic potential.

From our humble beginning on the premises of my family home in 2017, with a single lovingly built classroom, we have grown into a registered private school with our own business premises. This continued growth arose from the increased need for classroom based alternatives to mainstream education.

As a registered school, we are proud to now provide the American school curriculum to all of our students with the option of either graduating with an American High School Diploma or a GED®. The use of the American curriculum allows our students to work at their own pace according to individualised learning plans. The two exit options available (American High School Diploma or GED®) allow for diverse and non-restrictive further study opportunities.

We are dedicated to creating and maintaining an environment where kindness is paramount and diversity, in all its forms, is respected.
